What if purpose wasn’t a destination, but a way of living?
I’m Denica, an economist turned social entrepreneur building a regenerative future starting from farm-to-closet fashion. One where impact isn’t an afterthought. Where women’s work is seen, soil is sacred, and success actually feels like something.
I work alongside farmers and artisans across Indonesia to grow clothing that restores: land, livelihoods, and dignity. Through my writing, speaking, and partnerships, I share what I’m learning about what it means to live, work, and lead with intention.
Together, building a future we believe in.
A Journey of Impact
For years, I followed the path that was supposed to lead to success: Good schools, a prestigious career.
But when I began visiting the communities those systems were meant to serve, I saw something they couldn’t measure: women doing the real work, yet still being left behind.
So I walked away.
I left the ladder, the titles, the comfort. Because I couldn’t ignore what I’d seen.
I stayed in the villages. Listening and relearning from our Ibus how to grow cotton in ways that restore biodiversity, how to dye with plants, how to build something that matters.
What started as a heartbreak became something deeper: a life rooted in purpose, meaning, and joy.
